23. I am a city girl who had once fallen over into a body of water. Gasping, I saw it reflected clear, wide blue skies, tall billowing lush green trees, and friendly, picket fenced smiles... and I've been floating along the country ever since.

Daddy
My daddy inspires me. He’s my mentor. The more I spend time with him, the more I begin to see where my personality traits sprout from. I used to wish I was more like him. I now see that I already am like him. He cares about people. He loves to learn. He is self-driven. He is understanding. He listens. He is now retired and lives happily on our farm. He gardens and is a loving companion to my mother who works just as hard.
I’m proud to be his little girl.
